Holdem Poker Chat is once again running one of its signature events. The Holdem Poker Chat “24 Hours of Tilt” will begin on Saturday, April 18th at Noon eastern and will run for 24 hours. This marathon will feature a grand prize of a $2500 WSOP* prize pack and dinner with a pro! This is the largest grand prize ever given out on a Holdem Poker Chat marathon event.
Holdem Poker Radio will be broadcasting a live show at 11am on Saturday to get things started. Make sure to stop by and have a listen. We’ll also be running fun trivia contests in our chat room with fun prizes.
Starting at noon on April 18th 2009, there will be a private tournament every hour. These tournaments will all have money added to the prize pools. Some will have an entry fee others will be freerolls. Many poker sites will be used in the event, but every event will have $100 added to the prize pool. That’s 24 tournaments with $2,400 added to the prize pool PLUS a $2500 WSOP package to the leaderboard winner.
You do not have to compete in every event to win the leaderboard but you will have to play well, as some of the best online forum players generally turn out for this prestigious event. Players should not become over tired, or endanger their health to play all events, and the medical disclaimer is prominently displayed on the 24 Hour Marathon start page.
